Code Red Racing & Design proudly introduces our New Carbon Fiber Infused Cowling Rigging Tube Adapter Kits. The Original Cowling adapters that are still available are a direct replacement for the Mercury OEM plastic rigging tube adapters (PN#s 840212 and 840213.)
 
Our new Deluxe adapters are a 2 piece design that allows the user to install rigging tube adapters on their cowling without derigging the engine. Simply take apart the adapter and slide your wiring, fuel, cables, etc. into the adapter! This will also allow customers with the newer style 14 pin harness to use a rigging tube adapter. 
 
These adapters serve still serve as a replacement for Mercury OEM plastic rigging tube adapters (PN#s 840212 and 840213) as the footprint when assembled is identical. 
 
These adapters are compatible with 2-inch Inner Diameter (ID) Rigging Hose to replace the OEM components or custom rig your aftermarket race cowling. 
 
With their easy installation and precise fit, the adapters are ideal for Mercury Race or Alien Cowls, allowing users to achieve a clean rigging look with no play or movement against your cowling.

Includes (2) two Deluxe Fused Carbon Cowling Fiber Rigging Tube Adapter Kits to replace Mercury OEM part numbers housing adaptor 525-840212 and plate housing 840213. 
 
Installation requires a Phillips head screwdriver and a 5/64" Allen Key.
